ISO 14001 – Environment Management System (EMS)

• The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has produced a collection of environmental management standards known as the ISO 14001 series.
• The goal of the ISO 14001 standards is to offer a globally accepted framework for environmental management, auditing, measurement, and assessment.
• The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has imposing environmental performance targets, they give organizations the resources they need to evaluate and manage the environmental effect of their operations, goods, and services. Environmental management systems (EMS), environmental audits, environmental labeling and declarations, environmental performance evaluation, and life cycle assessment are all covered by the standards.
